Since its introduction four years ago, Matter has been approached cautiously as adopters worked to understand its capabilities and market readiness. Today, that learning phase has matured into confident, full-scale consideration.
This why DSR, Nordic Semiconductor, and Sowha and Sophia Technologies partnered for a joint seminar to demonstrate Matter ecosystem capabilities, with Nordic providing a basic package of hardware and software on a Matter platform, Sohwa & Sophia Technologies handling hardware development design and development support, and DSR providing Matter + IoT system development support.
At the seminar, attendees were most interested in key design considerations of Matter, how it integrates with existing IoT systems, and security features. Sharing the unified vision of DSR, Nordic, and SST provided a clear path for Matter development.
Focuses of the seminar included:
We look forward to the acceleration of Matter development in 2026! Stay tuned for updates regarding the Connectivity Standards Alliance event in March, located in Yokohama.
